*9th Summer Holiday Tsurumine Kids Festival
July 7th, 2014 Saturday
Theme of the festival was Brazil and honoring their hosting of the World Cup.
Part of the festival included activities such as quizes about Brazil for the children. Included activity was learning to make the Misanga that the soccer players wore.
* Misanga is an amulet to wear around the wrist or ankle, make with beads and embroidery colorful thread.

While making the quiz, we enjoyed fun, discover and surprise.
How many stars on the Brazil flag?
What is the origin of the name of the country called Brazil?
What was the shortest direction to travel to Brazil from Japan?
We worried that the quiz would be difficult for the school children, so we made the quiz multiple choice. The children were challenged and enjoyed their lesson!

Reward treat was "Acai"@a candy fruit of Brazil.

The Olympic Games will also be opened in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
The most distant country Brazil from Japan is felt as familiar as possible, and it is being wished the charm should just remain in the heart.
