Annual Year-end party was December 14, 2014 and was held in the community
hall.
As a result, there were about 120 participants, including 78 members.
It was bustling party not seen in recent years.
2014 party included both Japanese and international members providing a
colorful and exciting party!

The party chairman Mr. S and Chigasaki mayor Hattori addressed the invited
foreigners after which a toast by Mr. J begins the party.
Many international foods were made available by IAC members. Cuisines from
Japan, Russia, Finland, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom,
Peru, Mexico, Italy, Portugal and Spain were enjoyed by all. |
During the middle of the party, we introduced T-shirts of IAC, recent collections
for Tohoku earthquake reconstruction assistance program and played a game
of infomation about Honolulu.
Additionally, many participants has enjoyed the music played by accordion
with Yukio Matsunaga. Many participants sang anthems of their respective
countries.
Toward the end of the party, a lottery was held. Nearly all participants
collecfted a gift from the many donations to the lottery. The party ended
with thanks from Mr. N for all those who participated in making this a
very nice exchange of cultures. |
